Doomsday's German presales beat Endgame's opening mark
Avengers: Doomsday has set a new presale benchmark in Germany. Disney confirmed 118,000 tickets sold in the first 24 hours of German presales, passing the 105,000 Avengers: Endgame managed in the same window and making it the strongest presale launch in the history of The Walt Disney Company Germany.
German presales opened on October 5, more than two months ahead of the film's December 16 release there — two days before it opens in the United States on December 18.
The record came without IMAX screenings in the mix: those screens are held exclusively by Dune: Part Three for its first three weeks, so the Doomsday figure was reached on standard and other premium screens alone.
