Nova Project in Development with Loki Showrunner Michael Waldron Involved
A Nova project is in the works at Marvel, with Michael Waldron involved in bringing it to the screen, according to a report from Deadline. Waldron is best known to Marvel audiences as the showrunner behind Loki, one of the most closely watched series of the Disney+ era, and his name attached to a new project gives this one immediate weight.
Nova has long been one of the characters Marvel fans have waited to see take a leading role, and a dedicated project moves the character from the wish list into active development. The report frames the effort as a new screen venture built around Nova rather than a supporting appearance folded into another title.
Development announcements of this kind are an early step, and the available report offers no release timing or further production details. What it does establish is that Marvel is moving forward on Nova with a proven series hand attached, and that the project now sits on the studio's active slate of works in progress.
