Marvel Studios says Tom Holland's Spider-Man will not appear in a live-action Disney+ series
Marvel Studios has confirmed that Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man cannot appear in a live-action Disney+ series, according to a report carried by Yahoo. The confirmation draws a clear line around one of Marvel's most prominent screen characters, placing him outside the reach of the studio's live-action streaming series.
The distinction matters because Disney+ series have become a central part of Marvel's screen output, and audiences have grown used to seeing characters move between projects and formats. In this case, that expectation does not apply. Whatever Marvel develops for Disney+ in live action, Holland's Spider-Man will not be part of it, and viewers should not watch for him to turn up in that setting.
The report is narrow in what it addresses. It concerns live-action series on Disney+ specifically, and it offers no story information and no details about any particular show. Its significance lies in the boundary itself: a confirmed limit on where this version of the character can appear, stated plainly rather than left to speculation about future crossovers or surprise appearances.
