Stella Meghie to Direct Episodes of 'Wonder Man,' Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Stella Meghie will direct episodes of Wonder Man, the Marvel series being made for Disney+. The report comes from Deadline, which identified Meghie as one of the directors attached to the project.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars in the series, which carries the Wonder Man name in its title. Meghie's assignment covers episodes of the show rather than the entire series, indicating that directing duties will be shared across the production.
The announcement adds a key creative name to the Disney+ project as it takes shape. No additional details about the number of episodes Meghie will direct, or about a premiere date, were included in the material announcing her involvement.
