Today's Fact

Carnage had a younger sibling nobody talks about — and it fights with chemistry instead of teeth. In Venom: First Host #3 (2018), by Mike Costa and Mark Bagley, the Venom symbiote spawns its seventh offspring inside an Alchemax laboratory tank, and Eddie Brock names the newborn Sleeper.
Sleeper’s gift is chemokinesis: it manufactures and releases pheromones and compounds that can calm a room, knock people unconscious, or nudge a target’s mind where Sleeper wants it. Where its brothers and sisters grew claws and blades, the seventh child grew a pharmacy.
The family drama escalated fast. Sleeper later lobotomized the Kree soldier Tel-Kar — the symbiote’s forgotten first host — and took his body off-world, leaving Eddie behind on Earth while his youngest kid toured the galaxy wearing a dead soldier.
Why It's Obscure
Seven spawns in, the Venom family tree stopped producing brawlers and produced a pharmacist with mind-control side effects.
