Moon Knight Fact — November 4, 2026

Today's Fact

The most dangerous secret in his life was not kept by a god or a villain. It was kept by one of the men living inside his own head.

MOON KNIGHT HAS A DAUGHTER HE NEVER KNEW EXISTED — HIS OWN ALTER JAKE LOCKLEY FATHERED HER AND KEPT HER SECRET FOR YEARS!

The Featured Fact

Marc Spector has shared his life with Marlene Alraune since the night he died in Egypt and rose as Moon Knight. What he did not know — what part of him conspired to keep from the rest — was that years later his cab-driver alter, Jake Lockley, had rekindled that romance in secret, and that Marlene had borne their daughter, Diatrice.

The other alters never suspected. Marlene raised Diatrice while Lockley kept the arrangement sealed inside one compartment of a fractured mind — until Spector’s enemies found the compartment first. In Moon Knight Vol. 1 #190 (2018), by Max Bemis and Jacen Burrows, the Sun King, avatar of Ra, joined forces with Bushman and used mother and daughter as the lever to move Khonshu’s fist.

The reveal was staged like an execution: Bushman walked into the room holding the little girl’s hand while the Sun King produced a photograph of Jake, Marlene and their child. Spector had faced gods, werewolves and his own god’s madness — nothing had prepared the man of many selves for learning that one of those selves had a whole family. He fought to keep them, and Marlene’s verdict afterwards was its own sentence: after the Age of Khonshu, she took Diatrice to France and told him to stay away.

Why It's Obscure

Every Moon Knight secret used to be about which name he answered to. This one was about a name he had never heard: his daughter’s.

Diatrice

A daughter, compartmentalised — Diatrice Alraune existed for years inside exactly one alter’s memory, which in Spector’s mind is the most secure vault imaginable — until it isn’t.

Jake Lockley

The secret-keeper wore his face — The cabbie alter built a life with Marlene behind the others’ backs; even his confession only happened because villains forced it.

The reveal

Bushman, holding her hand — Moon Knight’s oldest enemy introduced him to his own child — as a hostage, in her mother’s house, mid-siege.

France

The boundary that held — After Khonshu’s war, Marlene took Diatrice overseas and told Marc to leave them alone; the Fist of Khonshu obeyed.
