Luna Snow Fact — November 4, 2026

Today's Fact

Her comics debut put the ice hero in front of an army of fire — and her rescue had to come from the heroes she had just met.

LUNA SNOW WAS FROZEN BY HER OWN ICE IN HER FIRST COMIC FIGHT — THEN CAPTURED BY THE FIRE QUEEN SHE CAME TO STOP!

The Featured Fact

Luna Snow's first comic-book battle was no warm-up act. In War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas Vol. 1 #1 (2019), Malekith's invasion sent Sindr, Queen of Cinders, and her Fire Demons marching on Asia, and Seol Hee fought beside White Fox and Crescent to defend South Korea. Mid-battle her own element turned on her: Brawn sprayed water across the fight and Luna ended up frozen in a block of ice by the backlash of her own cryokinesis.

Worse followed. Sindr overwhelmed and captured Luna, carrying Marvel's newest ice hero off as a prisoner while the newly assembled Agents of Atlas scrambled to respond. The solicitation for issue #2 states the situation flatly: with the ice-wielding Luna Snow down for the count, Amadeus Cho and his battered team had to find a new way to fight fire while Sindr set out to melt the polar ice caps.

The team did come for her. Brawn infiltrated the Fire Goblin army with White Fox's help and teleported Luna out of captivity, and back in action she helped the Agents drive Sindr's forces off the Great Wall of China and stop the melting of the polar ice. An idol who had debuted in a video game a year earlier got a comics introduction with the full treatment: humbled by her own powers, captured by a fire queen, and rescued into a team.

Why It's Obscure

First panel to first capture took her exactly one invasion.

2019

The debut fight — War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1 is Luna Snow's first comic appearance, defending Korea from Sindr's Fire Demons.

Frozen solid

Her own element — water sprayed by Brawn across the battle froze around Luna, trapping the cryokinetic in a block of her own ice.

Captured

Sindr's prisoner — the Queen of Cinders overwhelmed and captured Luna, leaving the Agents of Atlas to fight fire without their ice hero.

The rescue

Brawn breaks her out — Amadeus Cho infiltrated Sindr's army with White Fox's help, freed Luna, and she rejoined the fight at the Great Wall.
