Most unstoppable-force feats stop at walls. This one stops at anatomy. In the Juggernaut #1 one-shot (April 1997), Cain Marko faced the fear-demon D'Spayre, whose magic stripped away Juggernaut's flesh and muscle — leaving him, quite literally, a walking skeleton.
He kept going. No organs, no muscles to move with, no brain in the usual sense — the skeleton Juggernaut still stood, still talked, and still finished the fight, powered purely by Cyttorak's enchantment and spite. D'Spayre feeds on despair; a man who refuses to fall down even after being un-made is a very poor meal.
It is the purest statement of what the Crimson Gem actually does: Juggernaut is not unstoppable because his body is tough. His body is, in this story, optional equipment. The momentum is the magic — and the magic does not need meat to work.
Why It's Obscure
The Juggernaut's whole act is the body — hundreds of pounds of it wrapped in enchanted armor. In his 1997 solo one-shot, D'Spayre stripped the flesh clean off that body, and the skeleton kept fighting.
