JUBILEE ADOPTED A BABY - WHO GROWS UP TO BE SENTINEL X!
The Featured Fact

In X-Men vol. 4 #1-3 (2013), Jubilee - then still a vampire - was in Budapest when a meteor carrying the sentient bacteria Arkea leveled part of the city. In the wreckage she rescued an orphaned baby boy, named him Shogo Lee, and refused to hand him over. The baby was, briefly and unknowingly, Arkea's host; once Arkea moved on to Omega Sentinel's body, Shogo was just a baby again - and Jubilee's. Storm later confirmed the adoption papers had gone through.

Months later, the Battle of the Atom crossover brought two rival X-Men teams from the future to the present. Fighting beside a future Jubilee - who had taken the name Wolverine - was an armored young hero called Sentinel X: the grown Shogo, a baseline human keeping pace with mutants in Iron Man-style armor named, with grim irony, after the machines built to hunt his mother's kind.

The future Jubilee was killed by a Sentinel blast in the final battle. Before returning to his time, the adult Shogo comforted his young adoptive mother and told her she would raise him well. It is the strangest parenting confirmation in X-Men history: Jubilee met her son as a grown hero before she had finished adopting him as a baby.

Why It's Obscure

Jubilee is remembered as the kid sidekick. In 2013 the perpetual teenager became the X-Men's most unlikely single mom - and her baby's future is pure X-Men time-travel chaos.

2013
X-Men vol. 4 #1-3, Primer (Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel) - Jubilee rescues the Budapest orphan, names him Shogo, and declares herself his mother; the adoption is later made legal.
The name
Shogo is a human child - one of the very few non-mutants later permitted to live on Krakoa alongside his mother.
Atom
Battle of the Atom (2013) - adult Shogo fights as Sentinel X in armor, on the future X-Men team led by his mother, the future Wolverine.
Farewell
After the future Jubilee's death, Sentinel X tells the present-day Jubilee she will be a wonderful mother - the reassurance that settles her decision to keep him.
