The Nova Corps Worldmind file on Gamora contains the most quietly terrifying statistic in any Marvel dossier: she has mastered 83.4% of the known armed and unarmed fighting techniques of the galaxy's spacefaring, war-making cultures. Not most of Earth's martial arts — most of everybody's, planet by planet, species by species.

The number explains the fights that should not be winnable. Gamora has stood toe-to-toe with the Thing, She-Hulk, Rage and even Thanos himself — opponents vastly stronger than she is — because somewhere in that 83.4% there is always a technique built for the body in front of her, including nerve-cluster strikes that can paralyse or kill with a touch.
