Today's Fact
Her luck held for decades of gunfire. It ran out in a laboratory in South Korea.
Neena Thurman infiltrated Xeno, the anti-mutant cabal bankrolled by the Man with the Peacock Tattoo, and a genetic screening exposed her. What Xeno did next, revealed across X-Force Vol. 6 #1–2 (2019), was surgical: they kept Domino alive in a facility outside Seoul and harvested grafts of her chalk-white skin while she was still breathing.
The grafts were the key to a locked island. Krakoa's gates and sensors admitted only mutant biology, so Xeno stitched Domino's skin onto engineered Reavers and walked them straight through — assassins wearing her body as a passport, who cut down Professor X in the mutant nation's first great security failure. Domino was rescued by Wolverine and Kid Omega with sheets of her skin missing.
Krakoan bio-tissue closed the wounds, but the theft kept working against her. Her probability field stuttered for months, and in X-Force Vol. 6 #7 (2020) she traced a string of impossibly lucky assassinations to Xeno's next crop: killers grown around her DNA, including a colour-inverted double the team called Reverse Domino.
Why It's Obscure
The most dangerous thing Xeno ever stole was not her luck. It was her passport.
