Today's Fact
Checked against independent sources — the issues are cited below.
Eric Brooks, the hunter known as Blade, has a daughter: Brielle Brooks, raised in Atlanta by her mother Safron Caulder with no knowledge that her absent father spent his nights killing the undead. Brielle grew up believing she was an ordinary student while the most dangerous secret in her life sat in her own veins.
Blade had not simply walked away. He asked Doctor Strange to work a spell that would stop supernatural beings from ever sensing Brielle, sealing her off from the magical world that would have hunted her as leverage against him. The protection held quietly for years, and it only started failing after Strange's death weakened the working.
When Brielle's inherited strength and night-time senses surfaced as a teenager in Bloodline: Daughter of Blade #1 (2023), Safron finally summoned Blade home. Father and daughter met as strangers, and her training began under the worst possible circumstances: a duplicate of Deacon Frost wanted Brooks blood for a ritual, and Brielle's blood would do.
